There are all types of weight loss and fitness products and information out there. How do you know what really works beyond all the advertising hype? How do you know which systems, diets or programs are for real and which ones are duds? This is where we come in.

I, David Kamau, know what it feels like to have any one of the three basic body types. I have been fat, I have been skinny, and I have been muscular. I personally prefer to be the last one but due life's little games I sometimes switched between the first and the last.

Sometimes I've also been stuck somewhere in between fat and muscular especially soon after a change in my eating and physical activity habits. For some reason getting back to skinny has not been easy and frankly, that's the one body type I simply do not want though I want fat even less.

When I've looked "attractive" it is because of the work and effort I've put into it. This means exercise and proper nutrition and supplements.

Why supplements? You see, getting all the nutrients your body needs from food alone can be extremely challenging. Modern food is refrigerated or frozen, often for many months. At the end the nutrients, especially vitamins are greatly compromised.

Even muscle-building proteins do get compromised if the correct balance is not struck in cooking. Under-cooking may not be good for your health. Overcooking proteins can cause denaturing.

Also, we need supplements to help us push the envelope, so to speak. We also may need supplements to help us attain our goals as in the case of appetite suppressants.

There is an ugly side to supplementation too. You see, there is big money in it and everyone wants a piece of the pie, including the crooks.

As a result, many worthless supplements are being peddled as the last thing you need to attain perfect health. The costs could kill you. One time I used to spend enough money to make a car payment for a very nice new car every month. And most of it went to stuff that I simply did not need.

It is on the basis of this that I started this site – to let you know what works and what does not work. What you really need and what you can do without. Who out there can truly help you in your goal for better health and physique, and which products are worth your money.
